Joe Black is a guitar player, and he kicks some ass on this release. He has a bunch of guest musicians helping out on this. The first Tune I wasn’t too keen on as it didn’t have that killer hook I was looking for, however from track # 2 onward I got what I was looking for. Pure ass-kicking rock with a bit of blues mixed in as well. More of an 80’s feel, and that was fine by me. Just catchy riffs and solid vocals (and there are several different people singing vocals on different songs) to boot. With rock n roll, I need hooks that I will remember in my head, and this has it. As I said, it has a mix of blues and rock, and it just works on this. High, solid production to boot on this as well. Check him out at:
