I was a huge Pat Travers fan during the “Go For What You Know” live album, “Heat in the Street,” and “Crash and Burn” days. I have not heard music from him in years, and here he returns, and damn if I don’t love this. Pat has always had a blues-based rock n roll sound, and on this, he shows me he still has it. Those solos rip through me, and the tunes are catchy as hell, and Pat’s vocals are splendid as well. The tune “Ronnie”, a tribute to Ronnie Montrose, is a pure classic. The production is flawless, and Pat’s guitar playing is second to none. Pat, welcome back; you sound like you never went away. Info:
