The Outlaws | At Rockpalast 1981 (MIG Music)

Some are like, who the fuck are The Outlaws. Well, The Outlaws are a Southern rock band that formed in the ’70s, and when I saw them in 1979, I was in the front row at Philadelphia Spectrum, and I saw them headlining along with Molly Hatchet and 38. Special for five friggin bucks. The floor was general admission, and I managed to get to the front row and couldn’t hear for three days, haha. For Southern rock, you can’t go wrong with these guys. They wrote lots of my favorite songs, including “There Goes Another Love Song, “Hurry Sundown”, Ghost Riders in the Sky,” and the classic of all classics “Green Grass and High Tides.” The sound on this is great, the band sounds good, and if you’re looking for something to listen to besides metal 110%, check this out. The band is incredible. Info:
