Them Damn Kings: Stronger than before record release party

The old saying you can’t stop rock ‘n’ roll holds true if there’s a band in the show that defines that you can’t stop rock ‘n’ roll it’s definitely them damn kings. Last minute lineup changes no problem, technical lighting issues no problem.

In the past 20 years that I’ve worked in the music industry and I’ve seen technical stuff happen with bands. It was a recipe for disaster, but not for Them Damn Kings. They simply show that you can’t stop rock ‘n’ roll.
Dingbatz venue is a famous place to play located in Central Jersey.  Them Damn Kings. They added more variety to the venue. Never have I witnessed at Dingbatz a band put on such an awesome show. The drummer Cooper Hughes kicks ass not missing a beat reminding me of a young Dave Grohl in Nirvana, bassist playing his first show with the band played as if he had been with the band for years 48 hours to learn the songs for the show is no easy feat no matter how good of a musician you are. Jef Rhodes guitarist and singer brought it; he played with fire in his veins and sang the songs in a way that takes me back to the days when bands knew they had to kick ass before there was no YouTube or social media.
If you miss this show next time they come to town you don’t want to miss the show. It’s insane to hear what a great kick ass show this was and for you not to show up next time.
