STRUTTER

THE HOTTEST TRIBUTE BAND IN THE LAND!

STRUTTER is a KISS tribute band from Ohio and billed as the #1 tribute band in North America. They performed a private show this past Saturday, June 19th at Jamestock in Creedmoor, NC. About 400 people enjoyed a beautiful day outside with entertainment by several local bands and artists, as well as food trucks and a raffle for a signed cymbal from the headlining artist. Memorabilia clothing including Kiss t-shirts and hats were spotted on a massive amount of die-hard fans in attendance.

The tribute band concept in general began on Broadway in the late 70’s with the stage tribute “Beatlemania.” A big resurgence started back in the 90’s.

STRUTTER is everything Kiss was in its heyday – unapologetic glam metal to the nth degree.

Makeup, costumes, smoking guitars, fire, blood, bombs, exploding sparklers. A spectacular evening with the music of KISS.

STRUTTER performs all the unequivocal hits of KISS live and in concert. They are renowned for portraying the hard rock band during Kiss’ early days in black and white face makeup. They rock the crowd with hits from 1974 to 1980. The real Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley gave Strutter their blessing at a 1992 show in Hollywood, CA.

STRUTTER have been around since the late 80s. There have been different Pauls and Peters some of the time… but as per James Jones, the venue owner and friend of the band, personally these are the best members.

Paul……Gary Stevens is from Las Vegas

Ace…….Matt Schroeder living in Wisconsin

Gene ….Bill Sabatta who lives in Akron, Ohio

Peter…..Andrew French from Nashville, Tennessee

One of the show attendees was Kyle Harvey, Rhythm Guitar and Backing Vocals for the band Preppen Barium who had just played the night before in Mooresville, NC at Danfest a free backyard party held once a year for 26 years now. Kyle’s quoted as saying “With a fun night ahead of us, we dumped our gear, loaded the van, & burned it down to make it to Jamestock Forever just in time to see Strutter. I’ve seen KISS probably a dozen times since 96, but this one was without a doubt my favorite KISS experience of em all! Watching these four guys, I felt magically transported to a hot summer night in the 70s. I was seeing KISS as a hungry band fighting to win us all over. I felt from them exactly what we were giving less than 24 hours earlier. I couldn’t help but feel we’re doin it for real & for all the right reasons.”
