M3 Rock Festival Returns this weekend July 2-July 4

This weekend M3 Festival returns to Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, MD. The show is expected to be one of the best ones yet with a must see line up on all three days. If you can’t get enough of rock music this weekend. There is M Pre-party by D-Toxin Productions which starts at 6:30pm at The Original Cancun Cantina in Hanover, MD which is about 20 minutes away from Merriweather Post Pavilion.

M3 Festival is a celebration of the 80’s hair metal genre. The event brings together people from overseas and across the United States who gather for a weekend of music. For the young fans who were not born during the music genres heyday in the 80’s it is an opportunity to see the bands live, meet them, and celebrate the music, style, and attitude. Fans always come to the shows with the things that were worn in the 80s.

For the older fans it is an opportunity to relive the memories from the music genre as it is an opportunity to escape from reality for a weekend to celebrate. It is one of the only festivals in the United States that celebrate the 80s hair metal genre. Every year the lineup changes and the lineup is always different. What makes M3 exciting is that you don’t get the same bands every year. Every year you get different bands and different things that are going on. The venue is worth coming to because one of the things that I like about the venue is the pinball machines. You have KISS and Guns N Roses pinball machines that you get to play for a quarter each game.

One thing to remember is food and beverage concessions will be cashless only debit and credit cards will be accepted.
